PostHeaderIcon Choosing the Gender of Your Baby - Determine the Sex of Your Child

Welcome back!

If you already have children of only one gender in your family, and you are thinking about having another baby, you may have thought about choosing the gender of your next baby. Although a bit of a “taboo” subject, more couples than we realize think about taking proactive steps and the fact that you are reading this probably means that you too have thought about what you can do to determine the sex of your child.

Although for some, there is very much the attitude that we should be grateful for what we are given and there is no doubt that most couples are delighted with their children, whatever the sex. However, that doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with giving nature a helping hand! Natural techniques for choosing the gender of your baby can have success rates as high as 95%.

Many couples have a deep-rooted need to balance their families. There is something “perfect” about having a family with a mix of girls and boys-no matter what anyone says. Most couples with same-sex children do feel the longing, but very few actually take steps to do anything about it, leaving such an important matter to chance. Indeed, “chance” doesn’t very often come into it.

For some couples, unless they make fundamental alterations, there are biological reasons why they may be having children of the same sex and this will not change unless they take the correct proactive steps. To give you an example of this, some women feel particularly “sexy” around the time of ovulation and this is thought to be an inbuilt response to encourage procreation. If those women only have intercourse at that time they are far more likely to conceive a boy.

There is no doubt that a scientific approach is best when it comes to choosing the gender of your baby. Techniques based on hearsay, astrology or Chinese medicine have no place when you are trying to determine the gender of your child. The best kind of methods are those which exploit all what is scientifically known about the behavior of the sperm, the ovum, the cervical mucous, the pH levels of the vagina, diet and the timing of ovulation.

By harnessing the knowledge of each of these elements and using it to our advantage, it can massively boost the chances of having a baby of the gender of your choice.

PostHeaderIcon Rebecca Washburn How to Pick Your Baby’s Gender

The popular book by Rebecca Washburn-”How To Pick Your Baby’s Gender” was written following years of research into natural gender selection methods.

Picking the gender of your baby is often seen as a somewhat controversial step. However, if being very honest there are probably few parents who having had two or more children of the same sex, would not secretly crave a baby of the opposite sex. It’s a bit like an unspoken “taboo”. I clearly remember being pregnant when I had my beautiful little boy and really wanted a baby girl to complete my family, I couldn’t bring myself to say it to others-I always gave the same response whenever I was asked if I wanted a boy or girl:

“I don’t mind as long as it’s healthy”

Oh, but I really did mind. I desperately wanted a daughter. However, when my gorgeous second son was born my thoughtsevaporated and of course I loved him with a passion.

It was only a couple of years further down the line when I still had those niggling feelings that I wanted to have a girl. However, I wasn’t prepared to go ahead without trying everything possible to ensure that I had a really good chance of conceiving a girl.

After much searching on the internet, I came across the book by Rebecca Washburn, “How To Pick Your Baby’s Gender”. I chose it above other similar-looking publications for a couple of reasons. Firstly, there was great emphasis on the fact that her methods have a strong basis in scientific fact and secondly, it did actually come with a full money back guarantee, so I made my mind up that if I wasn’t happy or felt it didn’t give value for money, I could at least cut my losses, having wasted nothing other than my time!

The book begins by “dissecting” all the known facts which influence conception and which gender will be conceived under what circumstances and this was a real eye-opener. There are so many different elements which can sway the odds in favor of conceiving a child of either gender and many are interlinked. Some of the information even made it crystal-clear why I had conceived my two sons and, more importantly how, without this information I would almost certainly have gone on to conceive another boy!

What I really liked myself is how every single recommended step had a very clear, logical explanation as to why it could work and there is great emphasis on using every known possible “trick in the book” to help you to conceive a baby of your desired gender. This means that by not just focusing on one technique, such as “diet” or “timing of intercourse”, you are using a multifaceted approach which almost guarantees success-or at least gives you the highest possible chance.

I did go on to have my gorgeous daughter, who is almost two years old now. If I hadn’t followed Rebecca Washburn’s techniques, I can now say that based on what I know, it would have been very likely that I would have had another son.

The book by Rebecca Washburn-”How To Pick Your Baby’s Gender” is certainly worthy of further consideration if you are wanting to try to choose the sex of your next child. It is clearly written, easily understood and the techniques are simple and easy to implement. What I liked best is the fact that not only the hows but the whys were explained. PostHeaderIcon How to Conceive a Baby Boy - Improve The Chances of Having a Son

For couples who already have daughters, many will wonder if it is possible to learn how to conceive a baby boy. Although gender selection techniques are often frowned about by many, there is no doubt whatsoever that parents who already have two or more children of the same sex, and who are wanting further children, would generally like a child of the opposite sex, even thought they may not admit to it!

For most though, this is nothing more than a passing thought and although there may be a deep-seated desire to improve the chances of having a son, nothing will be done apart from some “finger crossing” and possibly “praying”.

However, what many people do not know is that there are some very simple things you can do right away to help you to conceive a son. Natural methods which are successful rely on using a multifaceted approach which uses all the scientific knowledge we have about the behavior of all the various elements involved in conception, such as the timing of intercourse, the behavior of the sperm and ovum, the diet of both partners - and the list goes on. By harnessing every bit of knowledge and putting it into practice both before and at the time of conception, some methods claim a success rate of up to 95%.

One method relies on understanding the differences between male and female sperm. Male sperm is smaller and faster than its female counterpart and does not live as long. By having intercourse as close to the time of ovulation as possible, you can ensure that the fast, male sperm will reach the newly released egg first. Using this method, it is important to ensure that you do not have intercourse before ovulation or the longer lasting female sperm will survive and be ready and waiting to fertilize the egg.

Another tip is to have intercourse using positions which favor deeper intercourse. Male sperm prefer an alkaline environment and as the area near to the cervix is alkaline this is naturally more supportive of male sperm.
